Praise & Thanksgiving
- Give thanks for the successful May 2007 training of Pastors and Community Leaders in New Site south Sudan
- Give thanks for the printing of the New Sudan Christian newspaper second quarter 2007
Intercession and Prayer 
- Remember the Jieeng Women Prayer Warriors (Akutnom e Thiec Nhialic) literally meaning kneel and ask God. It is a prayer group of nearly a 1000 plus women in the refugee camps, displaced camps and in the rural villages. They intercede every Saturday as from 6:00 am to 6:00pm
Prayer items for Good Shepherd Leadership Training Center/New Sudan Christian newspaper
- Keep remembering Rev John C. Daau in your prayers as he continuously organized trainings and coordinates GSLTC administrative concerns with his schedules of creating and maintaining partnerships both locally and overseas.
- Pray as Rev. Daau keeps meeting with Sudanese Christian leaders in the training forums.
- Pray for sound and biblical teaching at the Good Shepherd Training Institute.
- Pray for the main facilitators of the Good Shepherd Leadership Training Institute who are usually involved in teaching/trainings, they are Ve n. Nathaniel Bol Nyok, Mr. Maurice Onyango, and Dr. Julius Oladipo, Rev. John C. Daau, Mr. Martin Olando, Ve n. Joseph K. Mutungi, Mr. Paul M. Chol, Rev. Samuel G. Marial.
- Pray for the New Sudan Christian Newspaper team as they write, collect and edit articles. Pray for the funds to keep printing this enriching and informative first Christian newspapers in New Sudan . Pray that the Lord would use this wonderful team of writers according to His such that they will be able to write articles and information which are truthful and live changing in accordance to the scripture. - Pray for the August 6-18, 2007 training in Kakuma Refugee camp and Nimule south Sudan August 20-6 (funds, logistics, coordination and communication, paperwork with the Kenyan, South Sudan government and UN authorities, selection of participants by the Kakuma and Nimule Church leadership (Rev. Canon Samuel M. Deng, Rev. John A. Majok, Rev. Daniel K. Malual, Rev. Canon Joseph A. Gak), preparation of teaching materials facilitators, safe journey for the US team and African team into Kakuma and Nimule, access to safe accommodation facilities. Joining in the two trainings are Rev. Bill Haley Rector of St. Brendan's Church in the City ( Anglican) a branch of The Falls Church, VA Mr. Stephen Lazarus, and three other team members from the same church, David LeMarquand a Seminarian from Canada, Dr. Katie Rhoads, Rev. John C. Daau and one ACK priest and Rev. Samuel G. Marial a seminarian .
- Pray for the upcoming October and December 2007 training in Bor and Kakuma.
- Pray for partnerships with Good Shepherd Leadership Training Institute, pray for its up coming board meeting, remember Sudan in general
